“Any account of our company has to start with its founder, Gabriel Meffre, who established a number of wine estates in the Rhone Valley in the 1930s. In 1936 he founded Gabriel Meffre, which became one of the largest Rhone Valley Wine Companies. Gabriel Meffre was acquired by Allied Domecq in 1990, and was then taken over by the management in November 1997.

Since then, our young and energetic team has continued to expand the company's estates, in the Rhone Valley with the acquisition of Domaine de Longue Toque in Gigondas and the management of Château Grand Escalion in Costières de Nîmes.
